Weather Phenomena

The weather has been all over the map this week.  Early on it was so warm the kids dug out a blow-up pool and had a splash down.  By Thursday the clouds had rolled in, it rained Friday night and Saturday was windy and cold. It's supposed to be back into the mid-90's this week.

Brad had his quad-campus orchestra recital at Highland High School.  They sounded really good.  It was a week of party's my part.  I hosted a luncheon for my neighbor Yvonne Harris (winter visitors from Canada who head home this week), as well as one for my friend Hope.  Jen Duffany invited me over for Bunko which was a lot of fun and Thursday was the RS Egg-stravaganza dinner.

Saturday the kids and Alex had a great time at the ward foot rodeo.  I spent the morning in charge of the stake 11y.o. scout day camp.  We had a great turn-out and gratefully I work with several fantastic leaders who made my job easy.  Afterwards I got to join up with mom, dad and assorted aunts, uncles and cousins at the sealing of Aisley Brimhall to her parents Golden & Becky.  It was a little  bittersweet as we were all also thinking of her big brother Logan.  If I remember right he would've turned 6 this year.  On my way home I got to visit our friend Marta Campbell who gave me an extra Singer Featherweight sewing machine she had.  Alex told her I like to quilt and she was so kind to share.  I tried it out this morning and love it.

Hurricane Camille struck multiple times this week.  Here are a few sample photos of the aftermaths.  I think the first is refried beans the and in the second she somehow got a hold of the peanut butter jar.
