One of our favorite cousins -- Logan.  His new-found friend is Wrenchy and he held him tight all through family pictures.

Carter, Brad & Lydia at the San Diego Zoo.  The day was a little warm so any shade was always welcome.

The pandas were a favorite

This baby giraffe was born just the night before.  He came out of the giraffe house for just a few minutes with his Momma.  We felt pretty lucky to get to see him.

The ice was wishful thinking on Carter's part.



Lydia, Eve, Brad & Carter.  The real polar bears put on a show for too.  We happened along just as they were getting snacks.

Carter, Lydia, Brad, Eve, Julie & Camille.  We checked out the Children's cove in La Jolla in hopes of seeing seals but only spotted one.

Instead we took in a few waves at the beach to the south.
