Alpine

The day after Christmas we headed to Grandma Sue & Grandpa Paul's cabin in Alpine.  We were supposed to meet up with others in the family but both Alan and Karina came down sick.  We suspect it may have had something to do with remembering that they would have to shovel the driveway to make a parking spot.  Alex and I got to do the honors instead and since it was a novelty for us we rather enjoyed it.  The snow as beautiful and we had lots of fun.  Poor Lydia came down sick half-way through the trip but gratefully got better soon.  Alex and the boys got to go sledding at Toboggan Hill but due to Lydia being sick and Eve's aversion to jackets (and thus to cold snow) the rest of us got to make do with the mini snow-hill Alex rigged up for us.
