Uncle Devon graduated from High School the same day as Carter's Kindergarten graduation. We were able to make it to St. David in time to hear his magnificent speech as co-salutatorian (something about no bum prints in the sands of time). The next day we started summer vacation off with a bang by heading up to Alpine with Grandma Sue, Grandpa Paul, Alan, Devon & Karina. The kids enjoyed fishing for trout and crawdads at Luna Lake. The Welkers joined us two days later for some more fishing (see pictures on the next post). On Memorial Day we enjoyed getting together with the Bluth family for hamburgers and a game or two of horseshoes. It should be noted that the 'Senior' team of G-pa Paul & Bro. Bluth took horseshoe honors over the more up-and-coming/hip teams of Bryce Palmer & Alex and Jaron Bluth & Alan.
