The Easter Bunny hopped on by the morning of Saturday, March 30th. Devon & Dee-Dee had stayed over that night so it was fun to celebrate with them. The kids had a great time hunting eggs in the family room. That afternoon we also went to Grandma & Grandpa Matheson's for a fun easter egg hunt with the Stephensons and Sadie.
On Easter day, the 31st, we spent some time in the morning as a family learning about the real easter story. After church we joined up with extended family at Grandma & Grandpa Matheson's for dinner.
The next day we hosted our McInerney extended family FHE at our house. It happened to be April 1st so Alex took the liberty of informing everyone during announcement time that in our patriotism we had decided to join the Navy and would be reporting this summer. He was telling a good story and might've pulled it off if it weren't for Adam & Anna piping up that it was April Fool's Day.
