It's a . . .

GIRL!

I had my ultrasound on Friday and it looks like girl #4 is on the way.  The boys were a little disappointed but tell me they've decided to love her anyways.  The expected arrival date is January 20th.

A few other fun happenings of the week:

Mon:  A birthday party for Great-Grandpa Matheson's 95th birthday.

Tues:  Voted in the primaries & Alex's debut as the inaugural speaker at the newly formed BioHorizons Implant Study Club.  Way to go Al!

Thurs:  The ever exciting Unit Commissioner Meeting for Julie

Fri & Sat:  Dates with all the kids.  Carter was extra lucky and got to have an xray taken of his right leg where he's been having pain for several months now.

Sat:  Alex mowed and mowed and mowed and the lawns look awesome.  Alex, Brad & Carter went with Grandpa Matheson to the opening U of A football game.  They report having a splendid time.  The girls and I took our dinner over to eat with Grandma Matheson.  Eve was very concerned that she would be lonely without Grandpa around.  We had a fun evening.

More sick bugs -- Brad stayed home from school Mon-Wed & Lydia on Thurs.  I'd forgotten what a wonderful reprieve summer is from the constant sharing of germs at school.

Sun:  Despite a 2am return time the boys were up and mostly chipper for 8:00 church this morning.  It's been a fun, relaxing day.

Congrats!

P.S. I know you've adopted "Home Sweet Home", but Kira has been asking when Eve can come back to our house to visit... :)
