A few more March highlights . . .

Brad, Preston, Kurtis, Bryce, Audra, Eve, Lydia
The Welkers were in town for the first day of our Spring Break so we got to hang out with them for the day. We had planned to go to the zoo but apparently everyone else in the Phoenix valley had the same idea so we opted for a more relaxed day at the Bass Pro Shop and the new Matta's restaurant. We got to feed and pet the trout at the Pro Shop and the kids had fun target shooting with their arcade laser guns. Afterwards we went swimming at the Welker's hotel pool. It was a fun day.
The picture of Alex & Uncle Adam with the Vernors actually happened back in January. With the arrival of Camille we ran out of seats to be able to carpool to school. The boys attend Benjamin Franklin Charter School which has been a great school for them but there are no buses. After a lot of deliberation we decided to buy our own bus -- well almost. We bought a 12 passenger van. Alex decided to keep our blue minivan (aka "Wildcat") for his car. We passed the beloved Vern (our'97 Nissan Altima with the banged up back end) on to the Stephensons who were in need of another pair of wheels at the time. Here's Adam & Alex at the bequeathing ceremony. A pack of Vernors soda modified to read, "Vern's Yors" was Alex's added touch.Over spring break in March we were able to get together with a couple of Alex's buddies from High School and their families. Ben and Brianna Richardson had recently acquired a 15 passenger van as well as a new baby girl too. Here's Ben with his new little one, Craig Newman and Alex and Camille. A cute babe and hot wheels -- just what every guy dreams of right?!
