A New Year

Alex was very proud of his hiking photography. He's titled this one 'Bird on a Cactus in Front of a Mountain'. The mountain would be Four Peaks.

Happy 2011! I'm not big into New Year's Resolutions but one of my goals this year is to start blogging again as it's the best way I've found to make myself keep a family journal of sorts. Thanks to Alex and his thoughtfulness, I actually have a computer that makes that possible -- our old one just couldn't hack it anymore. Alex and the older kids had a wonderful time at the annual New Year's Day hike in the San Tan Mountains. A cold spell hit us a day or two before New Year's and it was really quite a chilly day. Julie and Camille stayed home and enjoyed a nap.

Julie and Camille joined in for the party at the Hale's afterwards. Here's Julie & Camille with cousins Sebastian & Ashley Lee. It was a birthday of sorts for both of them with Camille being a whopping 4 weeks old and Sebastian 3 weeks. As you can see, they both partied hard.
